Up-to-date vaccinations
Reputable boarding and daycare require proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (kennel cough); some also ask for canine influenza. Have your dog’s records ready.
Cage-free vs. traditional kennel
Cage-free or “free-range” facilities offer open group play; traditional kennels use individual runs with scheduled walks. Neither is wrong — it depends on your dog’s temperament.
Staff-to-dog ratio
