Frequently asked questions
What vaccinations does Country Kennel require for boarding?
Dogs over 6 months old must have proof of rabies and distemper vaccines. Dogs under 6 months must be up to date on age-appropriate distemper boosters, but rabies is not required until 6 months.
What should I bring when boarding my dog at Country Kennel?
You don't need to bring anything but your dog. Country Kennel provides raised cots in all kennels, food bowls, and water pails. Dogs can eat the facility's food at no additional cost, or you can bring your dog's own food. Harder toys and chew items like Nyla bones, Kongs, antlers, and filled bones are welcome, but plush toys are not allowed.
Will my boarding dog interact with other dogs?
Unless your dog is an established daycare client, they will not have direct interaction with other dogs while boarding. However, they will have their own space both inside and outside where they can see other dogs. All boarding clients receive individualized attention and care at no extra charge.
