Frequently asked questions
Can I watch my dog during daycare?
Yes, The Dog Stop has DogCams in all daycare spaces. You can watch your dog live on your smartphone or on their website.
What vaccinations does my dog need?
Your dog must have current Bordetella, Parvovirus & Distemper, and Rabies vaccinations. Puppies must have all three distemper boosters. Vaccines must be given by a vet at least 48 hours before your dog attends daycare or boarding. If vaccines have expired and you get them updated, you must wait 7 days before using their services. Your dog must also be on a regular flea and tick prevention program.
What are the requirements for daycare?
Dogs must demonstrate appropriate social skills and the ability to play safely with other dogs. Dogs over seven months must be spayed or neutered. During the first day or overnight stay, The Dog Stop evaluates your dog's interactions with other guests. If your dog isn't an appropriate fit for group daycare, they will receive one-on-one staff time, potty breaks, and play sessions instead.
