What is the FURminator de-shedding treatment?
The FURminator de-shedding treatment reduces shedding 60–80 percent when done monthly or bi-weekly. It thins the fur and loosens the undercoat. The first treatment may cause excessive shedding for about a day as dead undercoat is removed, allowing new fur to grow in evenly. Regular de-shedding maintenance helps prevent matting, hair thinning, and hair loss.
