Using a self-serve dog wash in College Station
A self-serve dog wash like Barks & Rec gives you a raised tub, warm water, shampoo, and a high-velocity dryer so you can bathe your dog yourself — usually for a flat fee well below a full-service groom, and without the mess or back strain of using your own bathtub. You bring the dog; the station supplies the equipment and cleans up after.
Barks & Rec hasn't posted a price online yet — most self-serve washes charge a flat fee per bath; call ahead to confirm walk-in availability and current hours. Bring a towel and any specialty shampoo your dog needs.
We sourced Barks & Recfrom open mapping data, confirmed it's a genuine self-serve facility (not a full-service groomer, shelter, or pet store), and re-check College Stationlistings every month. Anything we can't verify is marked “call to confirm” rather than guessed — if you spot something out of date, let us know.
